I actually just filmed my Studio one screen because I only needed a second or two in my music video, but the next video, I will need a screen capture.
Presonus Studio One Tutorial Videos Software And RecordI am able to turn on my screen capture software and record a video off of YouTube with sound.
But, when I try to do a screen capture in Studio One 2, I cant get audio, no matter what I choose as the Audio Device. I know that people make S1 videos all the time, including Presonus themselves. What needs to be done to get the audio to record in my tutorials My current interface is a Tascam US-1200. Seems like its more of a S1 issue and the capture programs. I have tried Flashback Express Recorder 5 and Mirilis Action, but get the same result. No audio. Hopefully someone here has an answer. Thanks. So far, no program has worked for me in Studio One, at least not for the audio.Video records fine. Thanks for your reply. Note that you usually need to be using Windows Audio when using the screen capture programs. Your mic is already using your interface, and the interface isnt captured as part of the system audio. No matter what program I use, audio never records, but only from Studio One. DelTomix, I tried Release audio device in background option several times with bad results. It also did not work, and actually started causing some wacky things to happen. When I open the volume mixer in Windows, I notice that no audio from Studio One ever goes through any device. With Dante Via it did show audio going through, but none of the programs could record that audio stream from Dante Via when selected. I just dont get it The Audio Devices Ive tried so far are in Studio One: -ASIO4ALL V2 -Dante Via -Tascam US-1200 driver (ASIO) -Windows Audio. I downloaded Audacity and tested recording screen capture and the audio recorded just fine. I was also able to get it to record Soundmorph Wave Warper and Timeflux by switching to Windows DirectSound. Presonus Studio One Tutorial Videos Drivers Dont LetASIO drivers dont let any sound through to the video recorder. Next I tried Ableton Live 9 and set the driver to MMEDirectX and it also worked great. So, it seems that the issue may have to do with ASIO drivers not allowing my capture softwares to record any sound. The problem is that my Tascam interface uses an ASIO driver and Studio One does not give the option for the MMEDirectX driver. The only way I could get audio to record is to use the Windows Audio driver and turn OFF the Exclusive Mode check box in the Control Panel. That feature makes it extra easy, no matter what audio program youre running. I had the same problem with my first video, and thought I might have to go through a dozen screen capture software and down other roads that lead no here.
